Islamabad: (RightNow) A significant change in the time scale policy for federal employees has been announced. The government has simplified the time scale process for employees from grade 1 to 16.

Under the new decision, employees completing 10 years of service can now obtain their first time scale. This move is a crucial step towards career advancement for federal employees.

The path for time scale advancement has also been cleared for assistants promoted to BPS 16. Employees on ex-Pakistan leave and half average pay can also benefit from this facility.

The Finance Ministry has issued a new stance to eliminate confusion regarding the time scale issue. All ministries have been instructed to implement the decision.

It is important to note that approval from the scale committee and competent authority is necessary for time scale approval. A significant office memorandum regarding federal employees’ service benefits has also been issued.
