Pakistani Pilgrims Lead 22% Increase in Umrah Visitors

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj reports a 22% rise in Umrah visitors, with Pakistan leading.

Mecca: (RightNow) The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announces a 22.5% increase in Umrah visitors since the start of the current season. Pakistani pilgrims top the list.

According to the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, the Umrah season began on 15th Dhul-Hijjah 1448 AH, following the conclusion of Hajj. In the first month and a half, over 900,000 pilgrims performed Umrah.

Official statistics show that approximately 200,000 individuals from Pakistan traveled for Umrah, placing Pakistan ahead of Indonesia and Iraq.

Saudi officials state that the issuance of Umrah visas began on May 31, 2026. The final entry date is set for March 23, 2027.

It is noteworthy that Hajj registration is ongoing in Pakistan, with over 340,000 people registered online.
