Online Hajj registration for 2027-2030 sees a significant increase of 340,000, with both government and private schemes clearly defined.
Islamabad: (RightNow) The online registration process for Hajj from 2027 to 2030 is rapidly progressing. According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, over 340,000 individuals have completed their online registration.
A spokesperson from the Ministry of Religious Affairs stated that 246,000 people opted for the government Hajj scheme, while 94,000 chose the private Hajj scheme. These figures highlight various aspects of the Hajj process.
In Punjab, 156,000 people registered, followed by 100,000 in Sindh, and 51,000 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Islamabad saw 15,000 registrations, Balochistan 12,000, Azad Kashmir 2,600, and Gilgit-Baltistan 1,200.
The announcement for online collection of Hajj dues is expected soon. Registered pilgrims are advised to use the ‘Pak Hajj’ app and Hajj helplines for assistance.
It is important to note that the Ministry of Religious Affairs has urged applicants to provide accurate information to ensure only family members are included in group registrations.
