This appeal comes as Sonam Wangchuk’s deteriorating health raises concerns nationwide.
The statement emphasizes that Sonam Wangchuk represents our collective voice and conscience, and his life is invaluable.
Signatories, including Arundhati Roy and Zoya Akhtar, have also called for government negotiations.
It is noteworthy that Sonam Wangchuk has been on a hunger strike in Delhi for 20 days, demanding reforms.
