Lahore: (RightNow) RODA has transformed Nath Village along the Ravi River into a model village. This project includes the provision of basic facilities.
The new model village features roads, drainage systems, educational and medical centers, and a handicraft center for women. Development is ongoing in 91 villages.
Director Fatima Ali Khan stated that the project’s aim is to provide modern urban facilities to rural populations. UV reflective paint will help reduce home temperatures.
Nath Village resident Aizaz Zafar said the implementation of modern infrastructure has opened new avenues for the area’s development.
It is noteworthy that this project is part of a corporate social responsibility campaign. Energy savings are possible through the use of UV reflective paint.
