Attock: (RightNow) Near Lawrencepur Toll Plaza in Attock, a dump truck driver ran over Highway Police Officer Javed Akbar on the owner’s orders. The incident occurred when Javed Akbar stopped the overloaded dump truck and issued a ticket.

According to police, the driver ran over the officer instead of providing documents, resulting in his immediate death. CCTV footage has been obtained for investigation.

The Motorway Police state the driver acted on the owner’s instructions. A case has been registered against both suspects under serious charges.

The family of the late Javed Akbar is deeply affected by the incident, leaving behind his widow and five children. His funeral was held in Mardan.

It is noteworthy that the IG Motorway expressed condolences to the martyr’s family and assured them of the department’s support.
