Bishkek: (RightNow) The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Foreign Ministers’ meeting is set to take place next week in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Foreign ministers from Pakistan, China, Russia, Iran, and other member countries will attend.

Sources indicate that Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar will travel to Kyrgyzstan next week for the meeting. The meeting is scheduled for July 24, with India’s Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar also expected to attend.

The agenda for the upcoming SCO summit and key issues will be finalized during this meeting. The summit is set to occur at the end of next month in Bishkek, with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expected to participate.

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping are also anticipated to attend. The summit will issue a joint declaration on September 1.

It is noteworthy that the Shanghai Cooperation Organization is a significant regional organization promoting trade and security cooperation among member states.
