Iran declares enemy’s entry into war, peace memorandums deemed ineffective. Security measures announced for Strait of Hormuz.
Tehran: (RightNow) The spokesperson for Iran’s Parliamentary National Security Committee, Ebrahim Rezaei, stated that peace memorandums are no longer effective after rising tensions in the region. He declared that the enemy has officially entered the war.
The spokesperson further mentioned that the enemy violated all clauses of the peace memorandum. In response, Iran has initiated measures to ensure its security in the region.
Ebrahim Rezaei announced that a comprehensive plan for the security and sustainable development of the Strait of Hormuz has been presented in parliament. A strategic action plan has also been approved.
He added that Iran is taking necessary steps to protect its national security and crucial maritime passage. This could further complicate the regional situation.
