Saad Rafique emphasized prioritizing national interests in Azad Kashmir’s budget, citing bad governance as a key issue.
Lahore: (RightNow). Former Railway Minister Saad Rafique stated that the entire national budget cannot be spent on Azad Kashmir. He emphasized the importance of progressing with the entire nation.
Saad Rafique, speaking to the media, mentioned that unfortunate situations arose during protests in some areas of Azad Kashmir. Bad governance was cited as the reason.
He further stated that some demands of the Public Action Committee are unacceptable. While the demand for development projects in Azad Kashmir is valid, using the entire budget is not feasible.
Saad Rafique highlighted that Pakistan has always made sacrifices for the Kashmir cause. The sacrifices of Kashmiri refugees and the importance of their representation cannot be diminished.
It is noteworthy that elections in Azad Kashmir will be held on July 27. Saad Rafique expressed that the elections will strengthen the bond between Pakistan and Kashmiris.
