Police reported that the ambulance transporting the injured was also targeted, resulting in an emergency medical technician being wounded.
The incident occurred in Shakar Dara, where the house of the local ANP leader was attacked. The shooting injured one person who was being rushed to the hospital for immediate medical assistance.
Police stated that unknown assailants fired at the ambulance carrying the injured, leading to the injury of a Rescue 1122 emergency medical technician.
The injured technician was also quickly taken to the hospital for medical treatment. Upon receiving the information, a large police contingent arrived at the scene, cordoning off the area and collecting evidence.
It is important to note that a search operation has been launched to find the attackers, and investigations are ongoing from various angles. Police have stated that those responsible will soon be brought to justice.
