Islamabad: (Right Now News) The Federal Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that the online registration process for Hajj is ongoing, with over 308,000 individuals registered so far.

The ministry stated that the online registration facility for Hajj from 2027 to 2030 is successfully underway, allowing pilgrims to register from home. The registration count has exceeded 308,000.

According to the ministry’s statement, the registration process is easy through the Hajj portal or the ‘Pak Hajj’ mobile app. In the next phase, Hajj dues will also be collected online.

The Hajj Management System, developed by the National IT Board, has become an effective communication tool between pilgrims and the ministry. Among the registered, 222,000 chose the government scheme, while 86,000 opted for the private scheme.

It is noteworthy that among the registered pilgrims, there are 3,500 PhDs, 53,000 Masters, and 71,000 Bachelors. The number of pilgrims aged 33 to 44 is 119,000, while those over 61 years old total 40,000.
