Beirut: (Right Now News) In southern Lebanon, Israeli attacks have resulted in the deaths of 12 individuals. Among the deceased are two children and a rescue worker. The attacks targeted various villages in Nabatieh and Marjayoun.

According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, Israeli airstrikes targeted residential buildings and markets. A Hezbollah rescue service worker was killed, and another was injured.

The Israeli military claims to have killed a Hezbollah commander in the southern suburbs of Beirut. The attack targeted the commander of Hezbollah’s ‘Radwan Force’.

It is clear that clashes continue despite the ceasefire implemented on April 17. The Israeli military has issued evacuation warnings for more villages.

It should be noted that Lebanon’s Prime Minister, Nawaf Salam, has stated that a permanent ceasefire could form the basis for negotiations. Peace talks are expected in Washington next week.
