Lahore: (Right Now News) The government has ordered timely salary payments across the country due to three upcoming holidays.

In Punjab, government employees are instructed to receive their salaries by April 30. According to the notification, salaries will be paid on April 30 due to the Labor Day holiday on May 1, followed by the weekend holidays on May 3. The Punjab Finance Department has issued these directives.

Under the current situation, the government has ensured timely salary payments for government employees. This measure aims to ease financial matters during the holidays.

This decision was made to facilitate government employees, ensuring they do not face financial difficulties during the holidays.

It is noteworthy that the Government of Pakistan has issued the 2026 public holiday notification, which includes the Labor Day holiday on May 1.
