Lahore: (RightNow) Pakistani actress Iffat Omar has responded to criticism regarding her dance during the Lam Fashion Week. Iffat Omar stated that initially, she was unaware of the lyrics playing during her dance. As soon as she realized the words, she immediately stopped.

The actress clarified that had she known it was a religious verse, she would never have danced to it. She mentioned that upon realizing the lyrics, she halted her performance.

Iffat Omar further expressed that her intention was not to offend anyone and apologized to all those affected. She assured that she will be more cautious in the future.
