Beijing: (RightNow) A Chinese-speaking hacker has used an AI-driven system to hack over 100 major companies’ websites. These companies include agricultural equipment giant ‘Deere’, household goods brand ‘SharkNinja’, and engine manufacturer ‘Cummins’.

Cybersecurity experts state that the human role in this operation was minimal, with most attacks executed by an automated AI system. The hacker utilized a commonly available AI problem-solving platform called ‘Kiren’.

According to reports, the hacker began AI attacks on e-commerce websites in the USA, Canada, Australia, and Japan on September 25. During these attacks, attempts were made to target over 1,200 websites.

These attacks pose a threat to companies as vulnerabilities in digital records and control panels were exploited to execute harmful commands. This task is beyond the capability of an ordinary hacker.

It is noteworthy that ‘Deere’ has confirmed that protective measures were taken to secure sensitive information. ‘SharkNinja’ quickly regained control of its product support website.
