Pune: (RightNow) Bollywood actor Nana Patekar’s funeral was held on October 8 at his farmhouse in Pune. His body was brought from Goa, where he passed away earlier that morning.

The funeral was attended by numerous film personalities, political leaders, and fans. However, due to the late-night ceremony, several Bollywood actors could not attend.

According to Indian media, Nana Patekar’s son, Malhar Patekar, explained that the delay in the body’s arrival caused the late-night funeral.

Malhar stated that Nana passed away in the morning, and they decided to hold the funeral the same day. He mentioned there was no specific reason for the delay.

It is noteworthy that 75-year-old Nana Patekar passed away in Goa. He experienced severe chest pain and was found unconscious by the medical team. Doctors confirmed his death at 5:20 AM.
