Islamabad: (RightNow). Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a significant meeting with National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq. They discussed key legal and parliamentary matters.

Sources reveal Ayaz Sadiq provided the Prime Minister with details of behind-the-scenes contacts with the opposition. He also informed about a meeting with a delegation from the Pakistan Peoples Party.

The meeting included discussions on the upcoming National Assembly session. Earlier, the Interior Minister briefed the Prime Minister on the law and order situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The federal government is considering imposing an emergency in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Federal Minister Tariq Fazal Chaudhry stated that the Pakistan Peoples Party would cooperate if an emergency is declared.
