Islamabad: (RightNow) Former captain Wasim Akram expresses concern over the national cricket team’s performance. He states that there has been no improvement in the team’s condition over the past five to six years.

Wasim Akram, speaking to the media, describes the series defeat against Bangladesh as a wake-up call. He adds that changing the coach won’t help; focus should be on talent and the system.

The former captain suggests maintaining the PCB’s domestic system. He mentions that a 14-year-old in a neighboring country is showcasing talent, and Pakistan should do the same.

Wasim Akram points out the lack of consistency in the team and issues in red-ball cricket. He emphasizes that merely changing players won’t solve the problem.
