Washington: (RightNow) U.S. President Donald Trump predicts a drop in oil prices following a victory in the conflict with Iran. He states that post-war, oil and gasoline prices will decrease rapidly.

Trump, speaking on the social media platform Truth Social, mentioned that gasoline prices could fall to $3 per gallon and possibly even below $2 per gallon. According to him, Iran will not acquire nuclear weapons.

This statement comes amid global oil market pressure due to the Iran conflict and tensions in the Strait of Hormuz. Recently, Brent crude oil prices have approached $98 per barrel.

Trump further stated that the situation will normalize quickly after the war ends. His prediction is a political claim dependent on oil supply and market conditions.
