Washington: (RightNow) U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Besant announces the Trump administration is ending all economic support to Iran. This decision may further exacerbate Iran’s economic difficulties.
Iranian President acknowledges the country’s economic challenges, stating that the conflict must end at some point. Qalibaf also mentions that no matter the military strength, a nation cannot survive if its people are hungry.
Scott Besant states that Qalibaf also emphasizes that without economic growth and national production, a country cannot sustain itself. The Trump administration continues to terminate all economic support sources for Iran.
He further adds that economic resources will be cut off until Iran is completely isolated. These measures could increase Iran’s global isolation.
It is noteworthy that Iran is already under numerous international sanctions, severely impacting the country’s economy.
