Peshawar: (RightNow) JUI-F leader Maulana Fazlur Rahman states decisions cannot be made for one individual. He requests the army chief to seek guidance regarding his position and change his approach.

Maulana Fazlur Rahman, speaking at the JUI convention, asserts that no law against Quran and Sunnah can be passed in Parliament. He references the 26th amendment, noting the Islamic Ideology Council’s opinion was ignored.

He claims recent legislation conflicts with the constitution and the military should not interfere in politics. He criticizes transferring Parliament’s powers to one person as wrong.

It is noteworthy that Maulana Fazlur Rahman also expresses concern over rising unrest. He mentions the diminishing government authority in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan and the breakdown of the police system.

He further states previous objections were raised on FATA’s merger. He emphasizes that dividing provinces is wrong and tribal rights to mineral resources should be granted.
