Islamabad: (RightNow) Justice Syed Hasan Azhar Rizvi has taken the oath as Acting Chief Justice of the Federal Constitutional Court. Justice Amir Farooq administered the oath.
Justice Rizvi assumed the responsibilities due to Justice Aminuddin Khan’s overseas visit. He was appointed to this position as the senior-most judge.
According to the court, Justice Rizvi has played a significant role in judicial matters. His appointment ensures the continuity of judicial processes.
The oath-taking ceremony was held at the Federal Constitutional Court, emphasizing the importance of the judicial system.
It is noteworthy that Justice Syed Hasan Azhar Rizvi has presided over significant cases in the Sindh High Court and Supreme Court. He was appointed as a judge of the Federal Constitutional Court in 2025.
