Minister Abdul Aleem Khan announces a new motorway project to improve Karachi-Hyderabad road, addressing transporters’ concerns.
Karachi: (RightNow) Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan states that the Karachi-Hyderabad road is not worthy of being called a motorway. He made this statement after discussions with transporters at the Governor House in Karachi.
The federal minister announced that a new project to improve the current condition of the Karachi-Hyderabad road will commence this year. The new motorway work will start from Sukkur to Hyderabad and Karachi.
Abdul Aleem Khan clarified that they do not wish to engage in any disputes but are taking practical steps to resolve transporters’ issues.
During the negotiations, Abdul Aleem Khan mentioned that various committees have been formed to address transporters’ issues. The purpose of these committees is to complete formal procedures.
It is noteworthy that the poor condition of the Karachi-Hyderabad road has been causing difficulties for citizens for a long time. The government is taking steps to improve it.
