Islamabad: (RightNow) The Ministry of Energy has launched the National Power Sector Innovation Program in Pakistan. The program aims to involve youth, researchers, and startups in solving energy issues through modern research and creative thinking.

Over the next three years, more than Rs 1 billion is allocated for the program. Selected projects will receive awards of up to Rs 500,000.

Federal Minister Sardar Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari stated that the program will provide guidance and practical support to the youth. Ideas can be submitted through the Innovation Hub digital platform.

This program offers an opportunity to transform research into practical projects and develop innovative solutions locally in Pakistan’s energy sector.

It is noteworthy that creative thinking and modern technology are crucial for solving energy issues in Pakistan. This program establishes a permanent national institutional system.
