Paris: (RightNow) Pakistan’s Muhammad Zubair clinched the Tekken 8 title at the Esports World Cup. He defeated South Korea’s Lo Hai in the final with a score of 5-0.

The tournament featured 32 players and took place in Paris from August 5 to 8. Muhammad Zubair showcased outstanding performance, winning a prize of $250,000.

Zubair secured his place in the final by defeating Arslan Ash 5-4 in the semi-final. Arslan Ash finished fourth after losing to Australia’s Yagami.

Tekken is one of the world’s renowned fighting games, and the Esports World Cup also featured other popular games. Muhammad Zubair’s victory was widely praised on social media.

It is noteworthy that Arslan Ash had previously won the 2026 EVO Championship in Las Vegas, securing the global title for the fourth consecutive time.
