PTI prepares alternative protest plans if Minar-e-Pakistan rally permit is denied.
Lahore: (RightNow) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has scheduled a rally at Minar-e-Pakistan on August 5. However, an alternative strategy is in place if permission is not granted.
Party sources state that communication with district authorities is ongoing. An application has been submitted to the DC Lahore, and follow-up is underway.
If permission is granted, the rally will be held at Minar-e-Pakistan; otherwise, protests will occur at alternative locations, where party leaders will address the crowd.
Sources indicate that Azadi Chowk, Bhatti Chowk, and Liberty Chowk are potential protest sites. Party workers will gather there, and leadership will deliver speeches.
It is noteworthy that PTI assembly members will reach the protest sites through rallies. The final decision will depend on the permission granted.
