Islamabad: (RightNow) DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif announced in a press conference that counter-terrorism operations in Pakistan are progressing rapidly. This year, 10 terrorists are killed daily, while 4 individuals are martyred.

He further stated that 7,177 intelligence-based operations were conducted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 31,080 in Balochistan. So far, 3,145 terrorism incidents have occurred.

DG ISPR revealed that 2,084 terrorists have been killed and 819 individuals martyred this year. Among them, 303 were from the Pakistan Army, 394 were law enforcement personnel, and 322 were civilians.

It was disclosed that all suicide attackers were Afghans, with Afghan involvement in incidents in Tank and Karachi. The government asserts that the constitution and law are equal for everyone.

It is noteworthy that counter-terrorism operations have been ongoing for the past 5 years. Negative propaganda is being spread in Balochistan while ensuring the supremacy of the constitution and law in the country.
