Global: (RightNow). Research on 6G mobile networks is ongoing worldwide. Experts state that in the future, this technology could offer high-speed internet and detect people, objects, and movements nearby.

This technology is known as ‘Integrated Sensing and Communication’ (ISAC). The International Telecommunication Union has included it among the key uses for next-generation mobile networks.

German data protection authorities have expressed concerns that 6G technology could enable wireless devices to function as radar sensors, including smartphones and Wi-Fi points.

It is important to note that this technology could assist in monitoring patients’ breathing and movements and aid in disaster relief efforts. Its applications are broad, but privacy issues need attention.

Remember that 6G radio technologies are still in development. Under the IMT-2030 framework, various countries are in the approval process. It is expected to be finalized by the end of the decade.
