Islamabad: (RightNow) Participants at Pakistan’s first Economic Summit 2026 declared the establishment of administrative units as a solution to fundamental issues. Prominent lawyer Ahsan Bhoon stated that Article One of the Constitution allows for the creation of administrative units.

President of FPCCI, Atif Ikram Sheikh, emphasized the need to strengthen the partnership between the government and the private sector. He mentioned discussions with the government about granting full powers to the FBR.

The Federal Interior Minister stated that improvement will not occur until the system is reset. He warned that if the current system continues, issues will persist even after ten years.

Patron-in-Chief of KATI, S.M. Tanveer, highlighted the need to correct existing system errors. The Sialkot business community expressed confidence that they could double exports if given trust.

It is noteworthy that Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has deemed the establishment of new administrative units essential for national development, stating that the current system has collapsed.
