Crude oil prices drop slightly despite Middle East tensions, with supply remaining steady.
Global Market: (RightNow) Despite ongoing tensions in the Middle East and the US-Iran conflict, a slight decrease in crude oil prices has been recorded in the global market. Analysts suggest that the movement of oil tankers through the Bab al-Mandab strait has reduced concerns about supply disruptions, putting pressure on prices.
According to data, Brent crude oil prices fell by 1.42% to $89.45 per barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate crude dropped by 0.66% to $83.90 per barrel. Experts state that despite military tensions in the region, the continued movement of ships and the use of alternative shipping routes have reassured the global market that oil supply will not be immediately affected.
It is important to note that in the previous trading session, Brent crude oil prices surged by nearly 8% due to tensions related to Iran. However, in the latest trading session, a reduction in concerns has led to a softening of prices.
