Peshawar: (RightNow) The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced new official prices for wheat and flour. According to the food department, flour mills will continue to receive 2 thousand metric tons of wheat daily.

The ex-mill price for a 20 kg flour bag is set at Rs 2500, while the retail price is Rs 2520. The official release price for wheat is set at Rs 11200 per 100 kg.

District food controllers and relevant authorities have been notified. The Food Directorate has issued the Wheat Quota Release 2026 notification.

Immediate implementation of the new prices has been ordered, and all flour mills are instructed to strictly adhere to the SOPs.

It is noteworthy that the public has been facing difficulties due to rising wheat and flour prices in recent times.
