Islamabad: (RightNow) Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar announces that the USA is Pakistan’s largest single-country export market. He states that trade between Pakistan and the USA can be increased to $20 billion.

Addressing a US business delegation, Ishaq Dar reveals that investment regulations in Pakistan have been simplified. The Special Investment Facilitation Council is providing all possible support to investors.

He mentions that American companies are exploring opportunities in technology, minerals, energy, and defense sectors. Over 80 American companies are currently operating in Pakistan.

Ishaq Dar adds that Pakistan is among the major importers of American cotton and soybeans. Last fiscal year, trade between Pakistan and the USA amounted to $9.4 billion.

It is noteworthy that Pakistan supports dialogue, diplomacy, and peaceful conflict resolution. Pakistan and the USA are working together for regional peace, stability, and prosperity.
