Muzaffarabad: (RightNow) In the first phase of Azad Kashmir Legislative Assembly elections, PML-N leads in 10 out of 13 constituencies according to unofficial results. PPP stands second, and the voting process remained peaceful.

Voting took place on Monday in 13 constituencies across Mirpur, Kotli, and Bhimber. The voting ended at 5 PM, with an additional hour granted. As per unofficial results, PML-N won in 7 constituencies, while PPP secured 3.

According to unofficial results, PML-N achieved victory in 4 constituencies in Mirpur, 3 in Bhimber, and 3 in Kotli. PPP won in 2 constituencies in Mirpur and 1 in Kotli.

These elections could significantly impact Azad Kashmir’s political landscape, especially with PML-N’s lead. Voter turnout was notably high.
