Washington: (RightNow) An American news agency reveals that names of four US soldiers killed in the recent Iran war are missing from the Pentagon’s official list.

According to the report, the Pentagon’s Defense Casualty Analysis System has removed these four soldiers from the list of war casualties. Additionally, names of dozens of injured personnel have also been deleted.

Associated Press reports a new category ‘Overseas Operations’ has been added, where these four soldiers’ names are listed. It also mentions 207 injured personnel.

It is unclear if the 207 injured personnel are related to the Iran war or other overseas operations. The Pentagon has not provided details on this change.

It is important to note that such changes can impact transparency of US military losses and public trust, especially during US military activities in the Middle East.
