A young couple was found dead in Sujawal, suspected to be linked to a marriage dispute. Police are investigating whether it is a case of murder or suicide.
Sujawal: (RightNow) In Sujawal district’s Haji Mato Somro village, a man and woman were found dead. Police report the woman’s body was inside a house, while the man’s body was hanging from a tree outside. They have been identified as 22-year-old Ajab Somro and 31-year-old Niaz Somro. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem at the civil hospital.
Police further stated that initial investigations suggest the woman was strangled. They are also examining if this could be a case of murder followed by suicide.
According to police, initial information indicates this incident is linked to a failed love marriage. Rumors in the area suggest the couple liked each other and were murdered.
