Araghchi’s office stated that both leaders discussed regional tensions and the latest developments. They emphasized the need for a global response.
Araghchi has called for an immediate response from the UN Security Council, the EU, and the international community. He labeled the criminal act as unacceptable.
Kaya Kallas and Abbas Araghchi stressed the need for diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions in the Strait of Hormuz. They stated that efforts to maintain control over the situation should continue.
