Islamabad: (RightNow) The government announces that petrol and diesel prices will remain unchanged until July 27. The Petroleum Division clarifies that there will be no price changes on July 26 and 27.

Current prices show high-speed diesel at Rs 383.46 per liter and motor spirit (petrol) at Rs 335.18 per liter. Kerosene remains at Rs 301.14 per liter.

The Petroleum Division states the decision is due to the absence of price indices in the international market. A press release on July 24 explained the prices would be maintained until July 27.

This measure follows recent increases in petroleum product prices. On July 18, petrol rose by Rs 5.44, and diesel by Rs 31.05.

It is important to note that petroleum product prices are determined daily, and there have been several increases over the past week.
