According to Iranian media, Zolghadr states that smoke clouds in the region are evidence of attacks on US military or financial centers. The ongoing Iranian military strikes express the nation’s anger.

He further mentions that these attacks are revenge for the massacre of children in Manab and Limard. Iran has also closed the Strait of Hormuz.

It is important to note that on February 28, 2026, the US and Israel attacked Iran, leading to five months of tension. A ceasefire was brokered by Pakistan on April 8.

On June 17, ceasefire talks were held under Pakistan’s mediation, but both countries accused each other of violating the memorandum, resuming attacks.
