Tehran: (RightNow) Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi states that attributing Yemen’s current situation to Iran is incorrect. He emphasizes that there is no military solution to Yemen, Bab al-Mandab, and other regional conflicts.

The Iranian Foreign Minister told Qatar’s Al Jazeera that negotiations are the only way to resolve these issues. He mentioned that Iran has no role in Yemen’s situation, while messages between Tehran and Washington are being exchanged through mediators.

In an interview with Iran Daily, Abbas Araqchi said that the roots of Yemen’s current situation lie in long-standing disputes between Saudi Arabia and other regional countries. He believes that dialogue is essential to reduce regional tensions.

He confirmed that contacts between Iran and the US are ongoing through mediators. The positions of both countries are being communicated, and Iran will not succumb to threats or pressure.

It is noteworthy that during a meeting in Kyrgyzstan, Abbas Araqchi stated that it has become clear to regional countries that US military bases are causing insecurity.
