Bishkek: (RightNow) Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar met with Central Asian foreign ministers in Kyrgyzstan, emphasizing the need for enhanced mutual cooperation. The meeting included foreign ministers from Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Belarus.

Discussions focused on increasing cooperation in trade, investment, and energy sectors between Pakistan and these countries. The importance of maintaining high-level contacts and timely implementation of past agreements was highlighted.

The Deputy Prime Minister also exchanged views on various regional and global issues. He reiterated the commitment to continue cooperation on multilateral forums and appreciated Pakistan’s efforts for peace and stability in the region.

The meetings also explored possibilities for enhancing cooperation in public relations, culture, and other sectors. Tajikistan’s Foreign Minister praised Pakistan’s efforts in the region and expressed hope for further collaboration.

It is noteworthy that Ishaq Dar’s visit aimed to improve relations with Central Asian countries. Efforts are being made to implement numerous past agreements with these nations.
