Gold prices in Pakistan fall by Rs 3,600 per tola, impacting local markets.
Karachi: (RightNow) Gold prices in Pakistan have seen a significant drop once again. The Sarafa Association reports that the price of 24-carat gold per tola has decreased by Rs 3,600, now standing at Rs 421,836.
The price of 10 grams of gold has also fallen by Rs 3,086, bringing the new price to Rs 361,656. In the global market, gold prices have decreased by $36, now priced at $3,994 per ounce.
Following the price drop, interest among buyers in the Sarafa market has increased. Economic experts state that the decline in global gold prices is affecting local rates in Pakistan.
It is noteworthy that fluctuations in gold prices are also dependent on global economic conditions. Recently, a continuous decline in gold prices has been observed in the international market.
Additionally, the price of silver per tola has also decreased by Rs 126, now priced at Rs 6,029.
