Tehran: (RightNow) Iran announces its defense system has downed a US MQ-9 drone in Khuzestan.

According to Iranian media, US military’s Super Hawk radars at Bahrain’s Sheikh Isa Air Base were targeted. Further attacks were carried out on US military installations and the Patriot air defense system in Bahrain.

The Iranian government states that the US attacked the Bampur Garrison near Iranshahr in Sistan and Baluchestan yesterday. Seven soldiers were martyred in this attack.

Reports indicate bombings occurred at three locations in Bushehr, but no casualties were reported. A maritime surveillance tower in Chabahar was also targeted.

It is noteworthy that recent US attacks resulted in 30 civilian deaths and 260 injuries. 222 injured were discharged from the hospital, while 3 injured are under 18 years old.
