New Delhi: (RightNow) India has become the most unsafe country for women due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s incompetence. The ineffective legal system is contributing to the rise in crimes against women.
Global media has expressed concern over the increasing crimes against women in India. Reports indicate that crimes have doubled since 2010.
According to the National Crime Records Bureau, over 80 crimes against women occur daily in India. In 2024, 29,536 rape cases were reported.
The apathy of police and judiciary, along with the caste system, has made life difficult for women. Social activist Ranjana Kumari states that delays in justice and escaping punishment have diminished the fear of the law.
It is noteworthy that the Indian government has never made serious efforts to eliminate hatred against women. Global media has expressed concern that this issue could affect India’s social development.
