Pakistan sees a rise in 5G mobile phone registrations, reaching 3.81 million, as per PTA.
Islamabad: (RightNow) The number of locally registered 5G mobile phones in Pakistan has reached 3.81 million. According to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), 162,040 5G mobile phones were manufactured locally in April.
By May, the number of locally produced 5G devices reached 961,326. The documents indicate that local production allows consumers to access 5G smartphones at relatively lower prices.
Various companies are manufacturing 5G mobile phones locally. Consumers will need compatible handsets to use the 5G service.
Some 5G devices may require a software update to activate the service, enabling users to benefit from advanced technology.
