Over 300,000 pilgrims have registered digitally for Hajj 2030, facilitated by a new system from the National IT Board.
Islamabad: (RightNow) Digital registration for Hajj 2027 to 2030 is underway. Over 300,000 pilgrims have registered on the National IT Board’s Hajj portal.
According to statistics, 283,000 people registered via the Hajj portal, while 43,000 used the ‘Pak Hajj’ mobile app.
Among the registered, 235,000 opted for the government Hajj scheme and 90,000 for the private scheme. This includes 191,000 men and 134,000 women.
Officials state that online registration will continue. The National IT Board has also developed a system for online collection of Hajj dues.
It is noteworthy that the purpose of digital registration is to facilitate pilgrims and make the registration process efficient.
