KPK Governor Faisal Karim Kundi announces tax exemption for FATA and demands 100 billion rupees from the federal government.
Peshawar: (RightNow) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi announced that FATA and PATA will not pay taxes. He demanded the federal government release the promised 100 billion rupees.
The governor emphasized that the tribal areas should receive the promised 100 billion rupees. He criticized the FBR chairman for not visiting Waziristan and staying in air-conditioned rooms.
Faisal Karim Kundi highlighted that despite gas and electricity production in the province, citizens lack these facilities. He suggested the provincial government raise their voice for rights.
He stressed that peace is essential for investment in the province. Youth are being neglected, and there is a need to provide opportunities in cricket and other sports.
It is noteworthy that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cricket League starts on July 18, and Saudi Airlines has begun service from Peshawar. More international flights are also set to commence.
