Karachi: (RightNow) Police have arrested three suspects in the Dr. Akash murder case within 36 hours. DIG South Asad Raza announced in a press conference that the motorcycle and vehicle used in the crime have been traced.

Dr. Akash was killed during a robbery in the Frere area, and crucial evidence was gathered within 24 hours. The suspects were apprehended within 36 hours.

The suspects targeted Dr. Akash outside a bank after surveillance. Police obtained over 100 CCTV footages, which helped in identifying the culprits.

The motorcycle and vehicle used in the crime have been identified. All three suspects were arrested while riding the motorcycle.

It is noteworthy that the suspects were arrested from the Defense police station jurisdiction and belong to the Hindu community. Some money was also recovered from their possession.
