South Air Starts Pakistan Domestic Flights With ATR 72-600 Aircraft

Karachi: (RightNow) A significant development has occurred in Pakistan’s private aviation industry. South Air has announced the commencement of domestic flight operations starting July 16, 2026.

South Air has initiated flights between Karachi, Islamabad, and Bahawalpur. Additionally, services are being introduced from Karachi to Gwadar, Sukkur, and Rahim Yar Khan.

According to the airline, modern ATR 72-600 aircraft will be used, which are ideal for short-distance flights. These aircraft meet fuel efficiency and safety standards.

Nishat Fatima, CEO of South Air, stated that this step aims to further strengthen Pakistan’s air connectivity. Passengers will be provided with safe and quality travel facilities.

It is noteworthy that South Air has signed a memorandum of understanding with Dream World Destination Hotels. This partnership will offer joint travel packages and discount offers.
