Multan: (Right Now News) Heavy rain has disrupted the electricity system in Multan. Strong winds caused 150 MEPCO feeders to trip, suspending power supply in various areas.

According to a MEPCO spokesperson, 13 feeders have suffered breakdowns due to the rain. Operation teams have been mobilized to restore these feeders. Power supply is being gradually restored in affected areas.

Rescue 1122 teams are on high alert due to the heavy rain. Several citizens and vehicles have been moved to safer locations from low-lying areas. Relief operations are ongoing.

WASA Multan has declared a rain emergency in the city and issued an alert. The MD of WASA has urged citizens to take precautionary measures. People are advised to stay away from electric poles and wires.
