Zurich: (Right Now News) According to the UBS Global Wealth Report 2026, Switzerland has become the richest country in the world in terms of average wealth per adult.

Switzerland’s average wealth per adult is approximately 910,000 dollars, while the United States ranks second with 696,000 dollars.

Luxembourg leads in median wealth with 394,000 dollars per adult, followed by Belgium in second place.

The report indicates that median wealth more accurately reflects the distribution of societal wealth compared to average wealth.

It is important to note that average wealth appears higher due to the presence of a few wealthy individuals, whereas median wealth provides a true picture of the average citizen’s wealth.
